Still looking for a place to celebrate New Year’s Eve? Try a vacation rental. If you’re looking to save money, there are lots of options in resort communities that are in their off season. Or, if you’re looking for something more elaborate, try romantic and exciting locations such as Paris, London or Key West.

Savannah/Tybee Island

Savannah has an old-world charm and elegance that's impossible to beat. You'll find stately mansions and plenty to do. Nearby, Tybee Island offers spacious vacation rentals with stunning ocean views. Either way, you'll escape the snow and the crowds.

Florida Keys

With an average high of 77 degrees, the Florida Keys make a sunny and warm place to welcome the New Year. Spend the day out on the water and enjoy New Years Eve fireworks on the beach.

Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg offers lots of fun in the winter. It has Tennessee’s only ski resort, OberGatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Resort on Mt. Harrison. You’ll enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating and more.  Be sure to watch the New Year’s Eve ball drop and fireworks.

If you live out west, try the Lake Tahoe region for New Year’s Eve. You’ll find an abundance of world-class ski resorts such as Squaw Valley, and lots to do in South Lake Tahoe. Plus, the excitement in Reno, Nevada, is just a short drive away.

Paris

If you’re looking for a truly romantic New Year’s Eve, you’re sure to find it in Paris. Paris The Champs-Elysees is the place to be starting at around 9 pm on New Year's Eve. Don't be shy about bringing champagne and plastic flutes to toast the New Year. At midnight, the Eiffel Tower lights up in a dazzling display you'll never forget.

London

Or, if French isn't your thing, try London on New Year's Eve. Midnightfireworks on the Thames attract a crowd of about 250,000 and you can hear the famous bongs from Big Ben, officially welcoming in the New Year.
